I am one of the pediatric endocrinologists at UCSF.  I earned my M.D. degree at UC Davis and completed additional training in internal medicine, pediatrics, and pediatric endocrinology.  Before coming to UCSF in 2012, I was a pediatric endocrinologist at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Not only do I see children and adolescents but my training in adult internal medicine, allows me to care for our growing population of young adults with diabetes.  I run a research laboratory that studies type 1 diabetes and cystic fibrosis related diabetes.
