Marcena Hopkins Peterson is typically behind the lens taking the photo. In this case, she deserves special recognition. She volunteered to take the staff headshots and succeeded in making us look good. Marcena took most of our bio photos over several days. She has been a longtime supporter of the Madison Clinic.

Additionally, she plays a major role in the T1DMarin group. T1D Marin is a support group for families whose lives have been touched by type 1 diabetes. The group has monthly meetings, a lecture series, and family gatherings throughout the year. They offer great resource, advice, community (and a bit of levity) with this challenging and ever-changing condition. Please contact Marcena Hopkins Peterson for further information: [email protected].
