Dr. Patrika M. Tsai is a specialist in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists and has interest in celiac disease, childhood obesity, and other nutritional and feeding disorders. She earned a medical degree at the University of Tennessee and completed a pediatrics internship and residency at Emory University in Atlanta. Through a fellowship at Harvard Medical School, she completed training in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Children's Hospital Boston and Massachusetts General Hospital. She also earned a master's degree in public health at Harvard University. She is an associate professor of pediatrics at UCSF.

Dr. Tsai cares for many people with diabetes in the Celiac Clinic at the Madison Clinic.
